There were kinks in my relaunch. The fact that my site disappeared for 48 hours was a big part of that. This (and the cat in my lap) got me to thinking about kinks. Those knots and intense folds in what we wish were a straight lined and clear experience. Here is where I try to remember the massage would not feel so good if it were not for the knotted muscles.
Thinking about this has me wanting to help everyone get a little bit of release from the knots in life. So I sent out a page from my coloring book to the Muses on my email list. They deserve to let go and work out some of the crinkles and snags in their life.
So do you.
Try this 5 minute meditation practice.
Lay down flat and comfortably. Set a timer for 5 minutes. Take a big breath in, pause, then let it out slow. Continue in this way for the entire meditation. As you breath in smile, as you breath out say a quiet thank you. This can be to yourself, your family, your cat... whomever sends you love and strength when you need it.
And yes, that can totally be yourself.
